The KCMCC is a non-profit incorporation in the state of Missouri whose members share a common interest in the military history of all nations and all periods

Meeting Info: From 5:30- 6:30 pm, members may purchase dinner, swap or sell items and share stories. At 6:30 pm there will be a brief business meeting followed by a guest speaker. After the guest speaker there will be a topical "show n' tell".

Ann Marie Short, assistant principal of Warren Middle School in Leavenworth, Kansas, left, presents a certificate of appreciation to John Reichley, president of the Kansas City Military Collectors Club, for a continuing display of military artifacts the club has provided to the 8th grade class. The current one was about the Mexican War, and was the first such public display in Leavenworth.

Questions


  • Who can join the KCMCC?
    Anyone who is interested in militaria. Most members are collectors, but this is not a requirement
  • Does the KCMCC have regular meetings?
    It meets the first Monday of each month at the Westport Bar and Grille, 817 Westport Rd, Kansas City, MO 64111, beginning at 5:30 pm with a social hour..
  • What happens at the monthly meetings?
    From 5:30-6:30 pm, members may purchase dinner and participate in a social hour. At 6:30 pm there will be a brief business meeting, a talk with Q & A by a club member or guest speaker. Then a topical show n’ tell after the guest speaker.
  • Any other activities?
    The club sponsors two military shows each year, in April and October. In September, we hold a day long display show at one of the Mid-Continent Public Libraries
  • What is the annual cost to be a member?
    First year dues are $25.00 and $15.00 per year after that. Table rental at shows is $25 for 8’-0” table & $20 for each 6’-0” table.
  • Why should I join?
    To begin knowing club members, sharing their vast knowledge and expertise, and gathering for kindred fellowship and to enhance your collection.
